NGOs Working for Persons with Disabilities
According to the Section 51 of the PWD Act, no person can establish or maintain an Institution for Persons with Disabilities except in accordance with a Certificate of Registration. The process of Registration of Institutions working for disabled persons was started in the year 2005 in Delhi. Till date there are 79 Registered Institutions/Organizations working in the filed of disabilities in Delhi.
